Re: javascript form submission opens a new tab instead of current tab

Hi,

I have been facing problem in safari after installation of version 5.1.4. Please find the description below what i have been trying to do

1. On the page an ajax call is made and the controller returns a response.

2. In the response I will be having a script tag and under the tag i will be having the function submitForm();

3. To execute it after making the ajax call I'll be parsing the script tag in the resposne and trying to execute it using eval();

4. And this thing working fine in all browsers and also in safari till I used the version 5.1.2.

5. But when I installed the version 5.1.4 when the submitForm() is called safari is opening a new tab which wasn't epected to happen, and the same is happening with safari-5.1.5.

I have been stuck up, Please help me out in resolving the issue.

Kind Regards,

Srikanth
