Been using iWeb trouble-free for years. Last night I changed the name of my home page from "home" to the name of my business. I published the page again to Bluehost, and then I got a 404 page not found message. Only way I could get it to stop was to change the name back to "home".
Any ideas?
I cleared my browser cache...republished the entire site...nothing!
Try rebpublishing the entire site.

The index page iWeb creates has a refresh that that refreshes to whatever your home page is:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url= Home.html" />
Hmmm...so it sounds like mine isn't refreshing.

So there are two sites. One without the Sitename (made with iWeb 2.0.4) and one with the Sitename (made with iWeb 3.0.4).
This http://www.ericducoff.com/ and http://www.ericducoff.com/index.html connect to the iWeb 3.0.4 site which is the default and correect way.
If that's correct, you have to find out what you did in the past, and then make up your mind what you want.
It might involve going to the server and remove everything you see there. Then publish the iWeb way.
If the site is not your's, then provide the real URL + old and new pagenames.
Try publishing your site to a local folder (your desktop) and see if it is working properly.
How to publish to a folder:
I see this :

Go to your sever to see what's really there.
Here it is with the name I WANT to use:
http://www.ryanhartt.com/Ryan_Hartt/Ryan_Hartt_%26_the_Blue_Hearts___Home.html
But if you enter in http://www.ryanhartt.com, it wants to go back to the old one.
Did you change the site name with your domain name provider so that the domain name points to the correct site?

Try adding a new page.
Name it "Ryan_Hartt_&_the_Blue_Hearts". Then select all of the content from the "Ryan_Hartt_&_the_Blue_Hearts___Home" page and paste it into the new "Ryan_Hartt_&_the_Blue_Hearts" page.
Also make sure it is at the top of the list in iWeb:
For example where my "Home" is should be your "Ryan_Hartt_&_the_Blue_Hearts"
you need to upload index.html (the one outside published folder) to the host root folder.
it's an old one and redirects to your old site.
btw, try not to use special characters in your site and page name, & is one of them. some host servers and browsers can't handle special characters.
I guess I should ask how you are uploading your website.
