I have just bought a mac mini server and am trying to get through the setup assistant. I select English as the main language and then get taken to the choose your country or region screen. I can scroll, select a country using the mouse or keyboard but when I push enter or double click I just get an error tone and nothing happens. Can not go forward can not go back.
help
Any suggestions?

I guess I'd try rebooting & holding CMD+r keys to see if the Restore Partition & Disk Repair can help.
Worked it out. I was using an HDMI connection and the screen wasn't showing the full information. Connected to a computer monitor and then got to see the full screen and was able to select the continue button.

We were trying to install a MAC Mini aand we could not get past the country request.
we were able to correct the problem by replacing the keyboard and mouse with a MAC compatible keyboard and mouse.
but we also noticed that you could not select the country and select the continue button with the keyboard.
you had to select them with the mouse only.
everything was fine after that.
