Lost an App??

I'm finding this hard to believe, but I have lost an app on my first gen iPad. I installed the New York Times App for iPad, but now I cannot find it anywhere on the device. The App Store says it is already installed and it just updated to a new version. However, I and at least 3 other people have gone over every single app and every single folder on my iPad and none of us can find it. What are we missing here.......besides the app itself?

I don't use it but it is in the Newsstand Folder?


Do a search on the iPad - swipe to the right from the first home screen and type the name in the text field at the top. That will at least show You that the app is on the iPad.
