I'm looking for an app that will allow me to do a microphone pass-through using the mic on the iPhone as the input and my Bluetooth headset as the output. I've spent hours on the app store and have found nothing free, or even for purchase, that will do this. Could somebody please direct me to the appropriate app?

if the bluetooth headset support a2dp bluetooth profile then every app that

just output mic input out the speaker would work fine

problem is that you may have problems finding such an app because feedback would make the audio system go crazy same reason why you have to turn off your radio if you call the radio station live

No. I'm trying to find an app that will allow me to do a pass-through. Basically, playing what the iPhone mic hears through my Bluetooth headset. I already know how to use the headset for everything else.

Were you able to find something that was able to pass through audio from mic to a BT connected device?  Please let'em know.

The only one I've found that works in this way to any degree is the Intercom app, but you have to press the talk button to "record" the audio and then un-pressing starts it broadcasting via bluetooth.

I think you can use a hearing aid app (example: BioAid/SoundAmp) for this. Combined with a bluetooth headphone you can hear your phone mic remotely. These apps also have advantage of amplifying or filtering the input sound.
