Why do videos and photos look grainy in my iPad

Try taking photos with great natural light = better quality.

Mine also, I am somewhat dissapointed, I look horrible when skyping of using facetime

As iCrizzo said, more light will substantially improve the photos and videos. Keep in mind the cameras in the iPad are very small. they do not have high resolution or a lot of light-gathering capability. The more light you can provide, for example doing facetime in a well lit room, will be helpful.

I was very disapointed because of the photo and video quality too. One other thing is that my photo size is very small. Is there a setting I missed?

Agreed. One area I thought the iPad is subpar. It's amazing how good thing look under well light conditions. Take that light away and it *****. Hopefully, iPad puts in better quality optics and possibly LED next time around.

I just brought it yesterday & i'm suprise to this problem in my Ipad4, Its a common problem ? Let me going to check with apple centre tomorrow.
