iLifeAssetManagement folder ever increasing

Trid to sort an issue with Applecare today. The above folder (which resides inside Library>Application Support) seems to be increasing by the minute currently up to 306.77GB's. After a Google search Apple thought it was connected to Photo Stream and would be fine to delete (after making a back-up first). I have disabled Photo Stream within Aperture (although it did seem to magically turn on a few weeks ago - user error probably - and upload my Aperture library to Photo Stream).

Wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue and thoughts on deleting the folder.

Thanks in advance.

now up to 306.83GB's!

same problem, I started to track the size of my folders and bumped into this ILifeAssetManagement folder. it keeps a copy of every single photo downloaded by Photostream. That's really non sense as this is a hardisk space killer!. When we activate Photo Stream there should be a warning saying that our hard disk space will be compromised because of this. I'll move the folder to an external drive but I wonder the problem will continue if I don't stop photo stream (which I wouldn't like to do it).
