Every time I open up to use iMovie, when I try to edit the color wheel keeps spinning and I always have to force quit. I can't even begin editting my videos.

Everytime You force quit - small errors builds up on Your hard disk - till Your Mac or iMovie stopps working.
I would
• start a brand new User Account and log into this - it by-passes all other pref files as iMovie, iPhotos etc
If iMovie now behaves - then the problem is in the pref. files and I would trash iMovie pref. file (but also iPhoto one too)

Was this issue resolved? I am having the same problem and I can't find a fix. I've tried everything Apple Support has recommended. It is happening with Safari, Chrome, and iTunes. Please help!
