Q: is is possible to archive a time capsule to a NETWORK disk?

I am looing to get a Time Capsule

But, being ware that it is purely a backup disk, I am looking for an ARCHIVE process.

Documentation shows thatit is possible to ARCHIVE to a USB disk connected to the Time Capsule.

Can I ARCHIVE to a network attached disk/share?

No.. USB is the only option.. you can use a file utiity or back up utility to copy files.. but then if you are backing them up to a network location.. why not use that to store your files. If it is connected to a computer than you can keep using TM and the TC correctly.
