I am unable to pair my new apple wireless keyboard with my new i-pad. It keeps says not paired and will not pair. I do not know what to do now. Help.

Make sure it's not currently connected to another machine. Remove it from System Preferences > Bluetooth on all other Macs or iPads.

Turn off keyboard. (make sure its' off, mabye even take out the batts since people always screw this up).

Turn off iPad as well..

Turn on iPad and quicky power up keyboard.

Now pair it.
