Problems with Safari video and scrolling.

I have two problems with Safari in Lion on my iMac.

1. Many videos will not play. Or the sound will come on and the visual start about a minute later, but slow and stuttering.

2. There are pages in Safari that will not scroll. I can see only the page that loads but cannot scroll below that. This doesn't happen on all pages, but for instance, it happened on one of Apple's support pages.

I do not have any of these problems in Firefox.

Hi...

If you haven't tried, go to your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache. Try a video.

If that didn't help, back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset. Try again.

If that didn't work either, quit Safari.

Go to ~/Libray/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db

To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.

Try Safari...
