Why can't sign into my Apple ID login? It won't recognize me anymore.

I have used my apple account for years, but recently I cannot login. It says I have the wrong password. I know I don't I use it on a regular basis. When I go to try and reset my password it asks me a question. What is your date of birth? I answer that question and it says I answered it wrong. What is going on? I have a hotmail login ID. Is it because it is a hotmail login account?

I had the same problem, but when i logged in to my apple account it just kept saying apple id and primary email address to join together? i dunno whats going as i was using my hotmail address as my apple id? is anyone having the same problem....

I still wanna use my hotmail address as my apple id?! if anyone... solved the problem tell me plz thanks
