Cant believe no one can help - Syncing windows phone7 (Connector for Mac) issue

I posted this issue yesterday. There must be a mac user out there who has a similar/same problems.


CANT ANYONE HELP???????




YESTERDAYS ISSUE


Im running an Intel mac (10.6.8). I downloaded the Windows Phone 7 app from the itunes store, installed it, opened it up and was asked to connect my device via USB which I did. The opened window/pane remains open with no devices found in the top left column. I have changed the USB lead, tried different USB imputs but with no luck.


Any ideas why its not seeing my phone?
