icloud.com won't stay logged in

This has only started happening the last couple of weeks - this was never an issue until recently.


In short, icloud.com won't stay logged in for me. I have to enter my info every visit (or at least every time I visit after closing my browser). It's not suppsoed to do that if you check the item under the login screen to remember you.


Anyone know how to get this to stick? Have tried checking cookies, doesn't seem to help.


This is with Google Chrome 18.0.1025.151 beta-m

We are experiencing the same thing with two different machine, two different browsers and, yes, with the box to keep me looged in checked in all cases. Since we check the calendar several times per day, this gets really old really fast.


In the past, this problem occurred and persisted for a few days--maybe as long as a week or two--and then went away in its own good time regardless of postings here and there and contact with Apple's tech support. No explanation was ever given. So, I guess, here we go again. I wish Apple could get their cloud services working as well as their competition, but for now, know that you are not the only one.

As of Sunday, April 15, the persistent log in started working again with a couple of exceptions. So it has gone from being 100% fail to 5-10% fail. As I told the Apple person who was working with me on the case number, it is difficult to proceed with what now is an intermittent problem. I guess I am just going open a case again if and when it goes back to being a major fail situation.


No need to keep bugging support people with situations that are intermittent and elusive. I suspect that Apple wants iCloud to "just work" as much as do those of us who have committed ourselves to using its tools.

Sorry I don't have a solution but the same problem everytime I move from my mail I have to log in and not it won't even do that ..... plus it is now a nightmare as we have 3 devices which we share between my husband and myslef and now all our info is mixed up download and shared and we cant separate them.

Does Apple try and help or its just our complains to each other? Can we ask them directly?

I was quite happy with icloud now it just gives me extra problems.
