Q: Scaner & Image Capture issues

here is an image capture c# scanner you might wanna give it a try. it gives you a high quality picture and the exact greyscale you need.

I ran into the same problem with a brother all in one printer/scanner.  The problem was caused by installing the ControlCenter software from Brother, scanning works fine as long as I use the ControlCenter software but scanning from Mac "Print & Scan" will yield poor quality result.
