If you're OK with 720p, just use the 10 Mbs Apple Device preset. It will take your clip and reformat it to display at 16:9 square pixels.
If you're looking for 1080p there is no preset yet. You can always start with MPEG-4 and boost the bit rate, then go into Geometry and create a custom frame size with square pixels. Change the extension to m4v and it should work,
Good luck.

But none of the existing 1080p is working. I changed them to fit the above, but I can´t see why its not working.
Does not matter. This one looks OK
Thanks.
BTW. Is there a site where you can report bugs with the new Lion?
You using the settings for DVDs... MPEG 2 won't work on the Apple TV. You need to use the H.264 setting.
As You can see in my former reply, I am using H.264
David, I believe Akimsett has used the HD DVD setting of one of the previous Compressor versions.
Russ
Right...
Russ... Did some tests on ProRes lastnight... do's and don'ts
Great. Look forward to seeing.
Compressor 3.5.3
H.264 10,3 Mbps
Tested all the others even thru export Quicktime Movies
None 1080 or 720 are OK with iTunes
None Prores either
Please give us a screen shot of the settings in the compressor window for us to see. Just like I did... The ProRes statement was for Russ.
Let me try those settings... Baseball game over... Now dinner is ready... back in a flash.
Golf is the matter. Swede in second place now.
I am in Sweden.
Midnight here soon
I checked it over iTunes - ATV3 and it plays just fine.
