Replacing Mac OS Lion AddressBook with addresses from iPhone

Does anyone know how I could move my newly updated iPhone 3gs (OS 5.1) contacts or my clean MobileMe contacts to my mac with OS Lion (10.7.3) computer? I need to make sure I don't merge faulty mac data with good iphone data or replace good data with bad ones? MobileMe and iPhone seem to refuse to push the updated addresses to either my mac or my iCloud. Any help will be much appreciated.
