MacBook Pro green geomatric lines on screen
Last night I was browsing sites on my MacBook Pro, suddenly a bunch of fuzzy green lines appeared and covered my entire screen, I can still see what's on the screen but not as clear. My Mac worked for another 30 second then frozed. I had to force quit the computer by holding the power button. I waited 20 minutes for the computer to cool down then tried restarting it again, everything was normal until the grey apply logo appears and then the green web appears again, couple seconds later and green web became more intense then the computer frozed. And there is a message on screen telling me that "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off then press the Power button again". I tried again the this morning, same thing happened.
Information about this Mac:
-2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
-6MB shared level 2 ache
-4GB of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
-NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and NVIDIA GeForce
9600 GT graphics processors with 512MB of GDDR3 memory
I don't have AppleCare or whatever it takes to talk to Apple on phone.
I did some research, one of my friend said he charged the MacBook long, it happened to him too. And it could also be the dying graphic card.
I need my computer for my Finals so this is urgent. I hope it's something wrong software-wise not hardware-wise. Any help is appreciated!
