Is there any problem with MacKeeper?

Just wondering with the lastest scare in malware, is there any problem with MacKeeper? Please advise.

Interesting enough the other day I saw some award mentioned on one of the MacKeeper sites, stating it was voted as the #1 utility (or something like that) in the world for the Mac. Though I couldn't find out which community had actually given that award.

Probably a site created by MacKeeper developers (Zeobit).
Fun Fact: MacKeeper is the #1 WORST utility in the world for the Mac. The day that MacKeeper is actually voted the best is the day I jump off a bridge.

Becausel of the WORST customer lack-of-service I've ever had from ANY company I had to get rid of this pathetic program that never worked. When I finally called to cancel MacKeeper they said, "No Problem." But, amazingly my computer immediately started to NOT work on Firefox where I had been accessing it. It still doesn't.

These people are not only charlatons they will RUIN your computer. RUN AWAY!!!!

Nick Rusakov (their PR guy) sent an e-mail out asking how they could improve their service. Here's how Nick...go to work for a REAL company that doesn't purposefully try to destroy people's computers.

Extremely likely! They advertise very, VERY heavily anywhere you can think of to place an ad where computer users will see it. Of course, touting in every one that they are the best!

It's the same ridiculous, and outright fraudulent tactic TV producers use. Example, a new show starts airing in a week. During that preliminary week, their run commercials every 20 minutes declaring it the number 1 comedy.

Uh, okay. Just exactly how does a show, which no one but studio execs and a few critics have seen, get a number 1 rating? Can't tell you how many of those ran less than 6 episodes before being cancelled.
