I have a brand new Mac mini. Due to a mistake I lost the original Lion system and Could not restore it from the Internet.
I downloaded Lion installation file and burnt it into a DVD. I booted the system by this DVD , system shows Apple logo and after a certain time shows another logo similar to forbidden. I'm stuck with this issue.
Currently I have formatted my HDD and installed a windows 7 64 bit on it.
any help!

(To Install OSX on an IntelMac the Drive it needs the GUID Partitioning scheme mentioned at the bottom.)

Currently I have formatted my drive to NTFS, but I think installer should ask me to format and partiotion the HDD again.
BTW, how can format my drive into GUID while it is on windows. I have no recovery partition.

NTFS won't work for an OSX install, & you must boot from the OSX Install Disk to Format it, of cousre W7 & any data will be gone.
I do boot from Lion DVD but it shows a forbbiden logo after one or two minutes
Try holding the Option or alt key on bootup, does that allow you to choose the OSX Install Disc to start up from?
I did the same thing and chose the lion efi boot disk. It starts by showing an apple logo and spining gear. then apple logo turns to forbidden logo and spining gear. in this step, system does nothing and stuck at this point.
I think you're going to have to take it to an Apple Store to get an install.
I live in Iran and there is no App Store here.
What can I do?

I got my Mac mini from Canada and I could not find Apple USB stick in Iran. Hence, I downloaded the Lion installation DVD from the Internet but no chance.
This problem is killing me.
Does this Mini even have an OPtical Drive?
Any friends in Canada that could buy it & sebd the Flash Drive to you?
I have and external optical drive.

I have burned a DVD using nero and it works, but during loading, something mysterious happens and stops the loading part. After mac chime, I press alt key and system shows two boot device, one for my windows and another for my DVD with Lion logo, I choose Lion EFI boot and system shows Apple logo and spining gear. after about a minute apple logo turns into forbidden logo and nothing happens afterwards.
I have a friend who owns a MAC. if it helps, I can barrow his.
