Q: My Apple TV 2 NOT connected to Ethernet, yet doesn't connect to wifi. HELP!

My Apple TV 2 is NOT connected through Ethernet, yet it keeps telling me: "To switch to wifi, disconnect the Ethernet cable from your Apple TV". Every time I restart  or reset, it randomly works for a while and then displays the same message again.
