A few days ago I dropped my phone on the ground. Since then, my battery lasts no more than 2 hours tops. Does anyone know what may be causing this? I suppose it would be a hardware issue, yeah? And regular Apple Care doesn't cover a drop, correct? (The glass is slightly cracked as well).

Yes, that's the price for an out of warranty replacement. So long as you don't bring them a baggie full of parts, but actually come in with something that still resembles an iPhone, you can get it replaced.
