App store will not accept password in update mode. Password accepted and verified in all other modes. How is this fixed?
Hi ..
Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try updating your apps.
