Added a HDD from Win XP PC - how to format?

I added a hard drive pulled from a Win XP PC, to my G3 (Mac OS X 10.4.11).

I see the drive and its 3 partitions on the desktop now. But:

1) I want to format everything (i don<t need to keep any content), and:

2) I want to format it for Mac OS of course, and:

3) I want to merge those 3 partitions into one single

I<d be familiar to do it under Windows, but I can t figure out how to proceed here....

No OS will be on this HDD (it is on the other drive). Just for data storage.

How should I proceed ? Thanks

Open Disk Utility and erase the HD. Then reformat Journaled HFS+ for the Mac.

How to format your disks...

You need APM Partition scheme.
