How do you delete stickies that are no longer needed? Please help!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I simply left click on the upper left hand corner of the sticky title box and this brings up a menu Asking:


Are you sure you want to discard this Stickies note? If you don't save this note, its contents will be lost. There are three choices provided: Don't Save, Cancel and Save.


This will delete the sticky from the ~/Library/StickiesDatabase and the ~Library/Preferences/com.apple.Stickies.plist files.
