Earphones with Remote and Mic

I was wondering if it's possible for me to return a pair of earphones I bought at the apple store a few hours ago. I mean, I wouldn't think you'd normally be able to, but compared to every other set of apple earphones I've purchased, the sound quality on these is rather terrible. The sound is really muted, like I'm sitting in a box; and when I use some older apple earphones I had with an iPod Touch, the quality doesn't even compare.

I'd go in there and just ask, but well, it's Easter; and they'll be closed by the time I get there. I was wondering if you guys could help, so maybe I could get it sorted on Monday if it's possible for me to exchange them. Thanks!
