Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close

My itunes has been working fine for years and all of a sudden i cannot sync my ipad or iphone to my account. it backs up fine, prepares to sync, it seems to happen during transferring purchases. I have tried uninstalling (and then finding left over files and deleting), i have tried repaing the AAS, tried virus scanning, . I have tried everything I can find on the net. Other issues used to come up like Mobile backup has encountered an error but since reinstalling that has all gone away. It is just itunes now!


Any other suggestions?
