transfer data old ipod to new itunes account on a new laptop and put it on a new iphone

I have a old ipod touch (2g, so it hasn't got icloud and stuff) that is on my fathers account. I want to buy a new laptop (windows, acer or asus perhaps) and a iphone, and make a new itunes account for myself. But i don't want to lose all the stuff that's on my ipod touch. 8 gigabyte of apps, music and photos! Is it possible to transfer all this to a new itunes account, without erasing my ipod touch, and put it on my new iphone?

Thanks in advance

iPod touch (2nd generation)

From me you will have to settle with english. You english is excellent though.

- To use music and apps and other media that was purchased with your fathers account you will have to continue to use his account. To update apps purchased with his account you will have to continue to know his password.

- To transfer contents from the iPod to your computer do the following:

- For iTunes purchases:

iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer

- For other music you will need third-party program like one of those discussed here:

Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities

- If you have photos on the iPod that were synced to the iPod and you want to transfer them to a different computer you will need a paid program like TouchCopy or PhoneView. These program also transfer music.

- Connect the iPod to your computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up

- Restore the iPod from that backup.

Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include music, apps, synced photos and other items synced to the iPod.

Thanks for reacting so fast. If i get it right, you can just connect your ipod to the new itunes account - after you authorized the laptop - and sync all stuff? I just got one question; which Apple id do you need to authorize? My fathers or my new one?

But for photos you have to get a third part program, paid like you said. Which one do you recommend me?

When this is done, i can just connect my iphone with the same itunes account we're talking about and put all the stuff on my iphone. That's very simple! Or have i forget something...

I don't really get what you mean with the back-up stuff. Do you need to do that for the photo's or what? I don't see the connection with the steps before. Can you explain that (again 😀).

- You can do Home Sharing. You have to be on the same wifi networlk

- To use your father's items the computer has to be authorized for his account. It has to also be authorized for your account for your items. Top sync iTems to your iPOd the iPOd has to be signed into the account that purchased the items.

- To get redownload your father's items the iPod/iTunes has to be loogged inot his acount/ Se the article I provided in my first reply.

- For transfering synced photo, users have used TouchCopy and PhoneView without problems. If the photos were taken by the iPod and are in the iPod's Camera Roll album then they would be in the iPod backup that I told you to make in my first reply. If you restore from that backup then no need for the program.

- You can authorize a computer for an unlimited number of accounts. However, one accounts can only be authorized on five computers.

- I really do not understand your questionn photos. What background app are you refering to?

If you are talking aboput the background on yur scree, that is part of the backup that iTunes makes..

About that back-up stuff:

Why do you need to that? You can just use Home sharing, can't you?
