LOGIC: "Error code -2 was returned by the Audio driver."

Hi all,

does anyone know what this error messages means:

"Error code -2 was returned by the Audio driver."

For some reason Logic / my audio driver seems to have a problem. Most of my apple loops seem to be heavily distorted in the output (clipping at +2 db!).

The waveforms look ok and do not indicate any saturation but the actuall sound output is horrible saturated. Also, the level meters indicate clipping.

All my faders are at 0db and i do not use any plug-ins etc.

I was wondering if this issue could be related to the old Mbox 2 which I am occasionally using? But the error also occurs when the interface is not connected.

If anyone has an idea that would be awesome!

Cheers
