Charts in Pages keep stacking together when I save and try to reopen the document.

I have a set of charts I created in Pages. The charts keep stacking together whenever I save and try to reopen them. My current solution (not ideal) has been to keep the charts open and not close Pages. I'm looking for a way to save the documents with the formating intact. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and knows a solution?

Sure thing.

I am running version 4.1 of Page

Currently, the documents are saved as Page's native files. I have tried saving the charts as word (.doc) documents, and have the same thing happen to me. The only file type that seems to work is .pdf, which conserves the format at the expense of being able to edit.

The charts litterally pile on top of each other. All 15 charts occupy the same space in the document.

How are you placing the charts?

Are they inline ie pasted into the text?

Or are they floating?

I have tried both and exported to Word and am not getting what you are getting.

Is there something else that you have done?

How are you positioning the charts? Are you using paragraph returns to space them? If they are inline have you set the spacing to Multiple or Exactly?
