Lexmark 4310 series printer will not print after printing first job after setup. Msg in printer window says printer not connected however the green light is solid on the printer.

try system preferences, print & fax and make sure that your lexmark 4310 is in the left colum, if not click + and add the printer, make sure you have the current drivers installed, also make sure your print que is empty. after making sure that it is in the left colum, when you go to print make sure the lexmark is selected as the printer you want to use, and not another printer. When you go to print, make sure the lex is in the window that says printer, if not, click the the button to the right of the printer that is selected and select the printer you wish to use,
