What might that be?

Apr 8, 2012 5:25 PM in response to sinloiby Bob Timmons,I assume that you mean that you want to extend the range using wireless only.
This Apple Support Document will tell you exactly how to do that:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4259
The instructions assume that you have AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion , so if you have not already done so, you will need to download and install this application to track the instructions in the support document.

If that's your purpose, you could have saved money by purchasing an Express.

Apr 8, 2012 5:53 PM in response to Bob Timmonsby WilliamNewMart,Thanks Bob, for this answer because I am looking at doing this.
I mean I have a TC 2009 model as my base from cable modem, and I also came into a new AE and I want to extend quality of my wireless network first trying without using an eithernet cable from the TC to the AE.
It would be same as roaming network but without the hardwire connection?...Right?
I have been reading and looking at this forum and thanks for all the good stuff you say, Bob!
really!
best regards,
WilliamNewMart
