i want to use @ in facebook to mention someone but its didnt work. how
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, 32gb

Ferretbite is correct as far I as understand it. However, the best place to get answers about how FB works would be on the FB help site.
when using browser you must be friends w the person you want to mention.
If you act as page, the page must "like" the other page to do the @ mention. Or if you as a page want to mention one of the Fans, this must happen in an already established interaction with the fan...
I don´t know if the @ function works in the FB-app for IOX ... If it does, my guess is that the rules above will count there too...

I know when using the computer you have to do @name, but when i try on the iphone it wont work...any suggestions??
The suggestion is to go to the Facebook site for the facebook app and ask them. Sounds like a FB problem not the phone problem. I hope you are using the FB app. I have noticed that using the FB app you can't do a lot of things you can on the computer. Sharing pictures is one big thing FB left out of the app.
who develop the facebook apps for iphone. I try using facebook on safari also got the same problem. so who fault it is anyway. and how to address them to correct it?
