You just need power plug adapter.

Go to the nearest Apple Store and buy (ask for advice) a power adapter for the US. It'll cost you approximately 30 euros. A travel kit could do the trick too, but remember that an iMac consumes more power than a laptop or a tablet. Again, ask for advice...

depending on which iMac you've got. I'd go for the cord. You should be able to find it in most computer stores in the US.
