MAC is not compatible with Army websites. I found a download that will allow me to use my CAC reader. Is this safe for my MAC?

I need to be able to use my CAC reader but it is not compatible with MAC. I found a website that I can download a program that will make it compatible. Does anyone know if this is safe?

Interesting question. PKard is engineered by my 25+ year old company, Thursby Software Systems. We are the same company that provided the Army with CAC software as part of the first Army Golden Master for the Mac. That was blessed for direct connection to the Army's network, not just remote access from the mobile user. PKard is a "subset" of ADmitMac PKI that is currently running within the Pentagon.

The Chief's militarycac.com site is highly respected. I would have minimal concerns even about the free solutions that he lists.
