Can I make Photoshop 7.0.1 work with OS X 10.5.8?
I have upgraded Photoshop 7.0 to 7.0.1 and also added the 7.0.1 upgrade for G5. My Photoshop will start to launch with the Adobe panel showing it is 7.0.1 but then I get a message saying there is an unrecoverable error and Photoshop will exit. There is no error number.
This is part of the Creative Suite I purchased from Apple in 2002 and which I ran on my 2002 Macbook Pro until I fried the motherboard. I bought a new MBP with Snow Leopard. Then I bought a refurbished 2003 Power Mac G5 to use as a second workstation, in another location, with my ADC 23” Cinema HD Display and my Photoshop 7.0.1. but I cannot get photoshop to work on it. My 27“ iMac will be my primary workstation but I won't have CS5 for a while
I plan to add another HD and put Tiger on it. My PS 7 should work with that, but I haven't seen anything that says it won't work with Leopard. Adobe is no help because they no longer have tech support for PS 7.
Does anyone have any experience with this or any thoughts/ideas?
