my daughter Just bought herself an ipod after saving for almost a year. Unfortunatally we cannot create an acount on it for her as she dosn't have a credit card and I'll be dammed if I'm using mine.
is there any way to register/ create an account without a credit card

yes.absolutely.u can create an account without ur credit card.during registration,when it asks for ur payment options,just look closely at dat page,u ll find an option like "later" or something..i dont remember exactly...
1. Sign out if you are already logged in with any other account
2.Open the app store
3.Find a free application and download it by tapping FREE and then INSTALL
4.It will pop-up a sign in message tap Create New Apple ID
5.Fill information about country,birthday,password etc and agree with Terms & Conditions
6.When you reach the point when it asks credit card there will be an option None select it
7.Contiune filling other information needed

I'm sorry folks, I cannot do either of those. The os is 5.0 and there is absoutly no option for me to bypass there is no later and no opportunity to select none.
I know on older OS you could select none but it seems that that option has been taken away.
so to recap
Using os 5.0 on a brand new Ipod touch. is there anything I can do to bypass the credit card info for registering an account.
I'd rather return this ipod than waste my time on it.
What happens whenyou use Mano.... instruction and try t create a nnew account using those instruction?
- It has to be a new account with a different email adress
- You have to first select to download a free app
my appologies. I crreated a totally new email to register and Yes I was able to get the "none" option for CC.
