I have just purchased a new Nike + iPod sensor and the 'Sensor' option on my iPhone 4S has remained greyed out (or disabled) throughout. Actually activating Nike + iPod from Settings proved problematic at first. Attempting to launch the app from the home screen does not work, in fact it simply crashes within a few seconds of launching.

I sorted it out - took a clean restore to re activate it. Disappointed at this work around, expected a better product. Hopefully it'll work now.

Thanks for letting us know that a clean restore worked. Seems like I'm going to need to do the same thing.
Such a shame Apple's products and software has so many bugs.
