Transferring iMovie files from iPad3 to sd card using camera connection kit

I would like to learn how to do the following:

The senario is this: A person has filmed something with their point and shoot camera. I want to import that into my iPad3 using the camera kit and edit it using iMovie. After saving the edited movie to my camera role I would like to export it back on the sd card and give it back to the person. How can I do this using the camera connection kit using the sd card? Is it possible? Is there an app for that? Usually it is too large a file to email and they do not want to use Facebook or YouTube since it gets compressed.

So far i know this isn't possible.

You can export your Movie to a PC or Mac and copy it back using a Cardreader.

The camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the iPad, you can't copy anything off the iPad with it.

Thanks for that information ThisisRends. I have done that before. I would like to give the person back the file leaving out the step involving the computer.
