Why is my voicemail volume so low that I cannot hear the voicemail? I have the sound on maximum. ???

Are you listening through the earpiece or the speaker? Try tapping the speaker icon in the top right of the Voicemail screen.
Try double-clicking the home button and slide to the left until you see a volume slider. Make sure it is up to the desired level.
I do not see a "slide button". ???
not to sound too dumb, but the only "slide" button I saw was on the "sounds" menu and that is at it's max.
If you double-click the home button the "app list" should appear at the bottom of your iPhone, slide that app list to the left twice.
ok, I tapped home twice and found the "slide" button and it is at it's max.
