i want to give my old ipod touch to my daughter and synch it on my puter she doesnt want my stuff .. how do i set it up where she can synch what she wants and it wont affect my new ipod?

Connect the iPod to the computer that she will use and restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. Make sure that iTunes is logged into the account that she will use.
and when i synch my new ipod touch wouldnt it affect it? when i synch hers i unclick the photo and music albums
im all confused .. why doesnt apple just let us drag files onto the ipod

here is what i did so far i renamed the old ipod touch in my daughters name .. installed itunes on her laptop unclicked the synch photo and synch music box but when i tried making her own itunes account it insisted i enter a credit card number .. she doesnt have one yet and no way am i putting mine on ... is there any way i can make her an account without useing a credit card?
