Face time

I thought I saw somewhere that you can do a three way face time. I am now searching, and can't find anything to back this. Is there such capabilities through FT, or was it another app I was seeing?

HI,

If you mean how can you three way chat in Face Time (As that was what the question was about) the answer is you can't.

CaptFred suggested the person had seen an iChat pic.

I posted an iChat Pic doing a 4 way chat and posted the link to the iChat Page within Mac 101

Mostly the Question and the Answer don't exactly match if you come here having read the Question title and then see the pic.

Face Time

A one horse wonder app.

Only does Video 1-1 (I always say it is a bit like capt Kirk calling from the planet surface even though it is video and not just speech.

iChat is much more like the Ship to Starfleet with the Video and File Sharing at the same time or the remote pic as Video feed and all the bells and whistles that involves.

Message Beta goes further in that it adds in the ability to iMessage Contacts (iPhone Numbers and people using their Apple IDs on Phones, iPads and certain Touches.

If you meant How did I add the Pic ? - I went the long way round.

I found the pic I wanted on the Apple Web Site

I right clicked that and used the Copy Location option.

In the Reply I clicked the HTML option top right

I then added the tags for pics <img src=" (Add URL/Location Info here)" />

Then I came back to the regular view to make sure the Pic showed up.

You can of course use the camera icon above and chose where the Pic is Located and let the Discussion Software handle most of the rest. (It can grab them from your computer if you wish)
