I replaced the battery of my wireless keyboard and now it won't show up on my Mac. I turn it on and it keeps blinking green, i've read that it's in discovery mode when it's doing this, My Bluetooth is on discoverable. and I've deleted the bluetooth unit from my mac. I have no idea what to do now.....

Verify the setting in System Preferences > Bluetooth > Advanced button.. > "Open Bluetooth Setup Assistant at startup if no keyboard is detected" is checked. Then Restart the computer by using the mouse. On the menubar, select > Restart...

The box was checked but i did restart my system anyways. for some reason it worked after I replaced the batteries to anodhte pair that was used.
Restart and it should either connect or aid you in pairing the keyboard.

How do I restart it? I try to hold the button down but it keeps flashing.
