Q: I can't connect with Mac OS X Lion to an openshare
Hey Guys,
At my work today we've had a new Mac system with Mac OS X Lion. All the other macs around have the version Darwin. Since I'm only a trainee here and I have no experience in troubleshooting with Mac.
Well my question is: When I try to connect to the openshare disk it says: "The version of the server what you're trying to connect with doesn't get supported, contact your administrator". Now since I'm a trainee administrator and the real administrator has a day off, I have no idea what I could do.
Maybe you guys have suggestions what I should/could do?
Thanks for reading my post, and I hope someone could help me out.
Regards,
Sander

If you don't even know what the file server is, then frankly you're not equipped to deal with this problem. Let it wait until the network admin comes back.
