It may seem trite, but if it is not broken, do not fix it. Deleting system software routines may cause unintended side effects. Unless you are seriously pressed for space, let it alone. I have no idea how much space that particular routine uses, by the by.
You can use the handy
service scrubber to remove anything in the services menu that you don't need. You can remove items simply by unchecking them (and still retain the ability to reinstate them, should you change your mind in the future). Best of all, it's free.
