Keyboard Volume keys are mapped to dashboard

I just noticed today that my volume keys are remapped to do other features like show desktop, bring up dash board, etc. I really used the volume up/down and mute often.

I went to settings and reset all keyboard stuff to default, but still didnt help. Going to do a reboot in a bit, but is there a program or app that I can see what the keys are actually mapped too?

This is very annoying I dont even use dashboard to be honest and have no clue how these got remapped.

P.S. I searched the board and read some other post about unchecking the F1, F2 function keys under settings > keyboard and mine wasnt checked to begin with.

Lion 10.7.3 just did all updates

Thanks
