I have a second generation ipod touch that will not update past version 3.1.3, when i check updates it says it is up to date but im quite sure i should be able to get at least a 4.2 ios update. If someone could please help id really appreciate it!!
I have made sure that my ipod is second generation, and i have tried to resotr it twice to fix the problem. I'm getting a little bit frustrated with it. I went to the apple store in metrotwn and the gentlemen didnt even look at the ipod, just told me that it was maybe to old of a generation to support updates. Funny thing is my boyfriend had it before me and he updated it past 3.1.3 no problem.
