upgraded to xp pro now what????

Hello,
I have upgraded my computer from XP home to XP Pro. I can't get my ipod disk to load itunes, or anything on the new system. I keep getting an error message 1606 could not access network location%userporfile%\startmenu\programs\startup,
Can any one help???? I have looked all over can't find any information as to how to fix this problem--most likey I am not looking in the right place--please help.

I finally got it!!! But now my next question is this...I followed the post of how to bring my music back to my itunes from my ipod mini--that was successful, but is there any way to get my playlists, or am I stuck on having to reorganize my playlists on itunes? All of my songs are there, but now it is just a library. When can I take my ipod off of manual update?

Use the third-party software solutions for recovering your Playlists in this link:
http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=1884083#1884083

You can take the iPod out of manual update after you have recovered your music/playlists to the best of your ability.
