There is no other Aperture to Picasa plug-in that I know of.
For a while after Über stop selling their plug-ins they were available for free but that was a while ago and I haven;t been able to locate them since.
It would be nice if they released their code to the public domain since there aren't using it anymore. I contacted them about this but never received a reply.

Ben,
I just tried the first link on the Softpedia Site, it downloaded a plug-in, but I have no way to check if it still works with Aperture, just try it:
Or you may just export your project to a folder and use the stand-alone Picasa Uploader; this way you can avoid to export the Faces Tags to Picasa - for probably your subjects will not want their faces tagged for all to see. 😝

thanks a lot i'll check it out
You are welcome,
and please tell us if these plug-ins still work; I don't have a Picasa account to try.

I download the zip file but nothing realy happend in the aperture after it loaded it. seems strange. i think i'll go for the other option, export the versions to a folder.
which other web album solution you are using? flickr?
nothing realy happend in the aperture after it loaded it.
How did you load it?
The plug-in needs to be installed in the system library: /Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/Export/
Move it to the folder (after clicking it to uncompress): Your System HD -> Application Support -> Aperture -> Plug-Ins -> Export
To use it, select the images you want to export, then ctrl-click the selection, and from the pop-upmenu select:
Export -> Aperture Picasa Plug-in
Then you will see an Upload Screen where you enter your account..
which other web album solution you are using?
I use the FTP-Site of my web provider to upload my iWeb Pages and my Aperture Smart Web Pages.
From iWeb I can directly upload to my provider, from Aperture I export the Smart Web Pages to a folder on the disk and then upload with FTP using CyberDuck. That is really simple, if the internetprovider offers web hosting.

it is strange but i cant find aperture under the application support folder in my library
If you have not yet installed any plug-ins you probably will not find the folder there; then you need to create it:
Select the Library Folder on your system drive, then navigate to Application Support, and create all the folders along this path:
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/Export/AperturePicasaPlugin.ApertureExport/
thank you very very much.
it WORKS!
You are welcome; glad it still works after all! 🙂

Léonie
Does this work with Aperture 3.4.1? It doesn't seem to work for me.
The newest plugin I know of - a 64-bit version is here -
Downloads - aperture-picasa-plugin - An Aperture to Picasa export plugin - Google Project Hosting
But I am not sure if it is sandboxed and compatible with Mt. Lion - not all plugins will work with Mt. Lion, see: Aperture 3.4 and later: Some third-party plug-ins are no longer compatible
