photo stream not syncing

Mine is not working either and I can't seem to find an answer as to why it isn't! So frustrating. Course my voice mail on my iPhone doesn't work half the time and according to Sprint, it's an issue with the udate they installed and which was supposed to be fixed 2 mos ago. . . . .

Mine won't work either. The photo's go to photo stream on my phone but won't synch to my pc. It worked fine up until last week.

I just reinstalled icloud and it is now working.

I did not uninstall iCloud, but I did just go through the Reset and it did NOT erase my pictures in my Camera Roll Album (But it did delete the other album...was that the Photo Stream album?) but it DID start working again immediately 🙂!

Did you find a solution to why photos stop streamig? I have iPhone and MAC lap top. Everything

was streaming with the iCloud until 2 weeks ago. Don't have free tech support anymore.

How did you resolve the problem?

Hi Kris, I went to my Libraries (Photo Stream) on computer

right click properties

general

at the bottom UNCHECK read only if it it checked...

(let me know if that works for you....good luck)

I did all the steps needed but the photo stream isnt working

Is it because of an update? Is anything wrong with my ipad or iphone??!!

unchecking read only did not work nor would it stay unchecked

I have had my photostream stop updating on my windows 8 pc twice. I got it to work again twice. The first answer I found on one of the threads here (I don't know where). I think it stopped the first time because the default folder changed names from Photostream to Icloud photos, so it really was updating but in a new folder.

I am using an iphone 5 and Windows 8.1

It stopped working again on January 3rd .... I found another way to restart the updating through this link:http://www.tinkertry.com/fix-the-issue-where-you-upgrade-to-windows-8-1-then-you r-photo-stream-stops-updating/ (also from Apple Communities)

It is a good link because it has a video where you delete some apple processes and a folder to restart the updating. I decided to try my 2 methods first:

• Unchecking and checking (didn't work) the photostream update in the iCloud panel
• Signing out of iCloud (on the panel), restarted the computer and then signed into iCloud again. This takes some time and somehow I have 166 reminders syncing to outlook now,...but my photostream is updating again.

When it works, it's seamless, but when it doesn't it seems that you need to manually restart the connection.
